Proclamation Request

The Mayor may claim events or "Days" that are of interest or benefit to the Town of Carrboro. Proclamations are a service the Mayor provides to Carrboro residents to honor and celebrate people, groups, and events. The Mayor issues proclamations that have a direct relationship to the Town of Carrboro and reflect civic activity, pride, and accomplishments. Occasionally, proclamations honor specific individuals in the community. The Mayor's Office does not issue proclamations as part of national campaigns, for national organization, or for issues or groups completely unrelated to the Town.
